Pages 40 - 45
INTRODUCTION: The objective of this study is to investigate the relationships between human seminal leptin levels and semen parameters
METHODS: Study groups include 30 males with oligoasthenoteratozoospermia and 30 males who have normal semen parameters. Leptin and DNA fragmentation levels were investigated in both groups, along with a variety of semen parameters including sperm count and motility
RESULTS: In comparison with the normal males, sperm count and motility have decreased significantly in fertile patients: 6,40+4,29(x106ml), %38,63+ 14,92 (p<0.0001). DNA fragmentation levels were found as 21,00+8,23 % and 38,43+14,23% in normal and patient groups respectively. Seminal leptin levels were 347,58+111,13 ng/ml in the normal group. Among infertile groups, no significant difference was observed regarding the relationships between seminal leptin levels and age, volume, sperm count and motility
DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: In our study it was demonstrated that, serum leptin levels decrease in the oligoasthenoteratozoospermic infertile males, while there is not a significant realtion with the motility of sperm. In order to use seminal leptin levels as a diagnostic tool more extensive studies are needed.

INTRODUCTION: This study, It is planned for purposes to assess the impact of internet addiction onto life quality of future health professionals.

METHODS: Material and Methods: Students studying for a private university department of health (296 people) created the universe of descriptive study of the type in January 2015. In the surveyed, 286 students who in school and agreed to participate in the study has been sampling. The research data; was collected with the implementation of the survey consists of Internet Addiction Scale (IAS) questions with socio-demographic characteristics and factors affecting internet usage. Data analysis was performed using t-test, single direction variance and correlation analysis.

RESULTS: Results: Students covered in the survey, 61.9% were female students and the mean age was 19.97±1.03. 22.1% of students uses internet 20 hours or more per week. Within the scope of the research students’ IAS point average was 30.77±15.70.

DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: Conclusion: The health professionals are average internet user.

Pages 55 - 60
INTRODUCTION: To evaluate the indications and final pathologic diagnosis of benign abdominal hysterectomies performed at our
clinic.

METHODS: Data were collected from 184 patient charts who had hysterectomy between 2010 and 2015 at XXXX Medicine Fac lty, Department of Gynecology for benign indications.
RESULTS: The most common preoperative indication for hysterectomy was myoma uteri (n=120, %65,21). Endometrial hyperplasia
(n=19, %10,32), cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (n=15, %8,15) and ovarian cystic masses (n=9, %4,89) were the following most common indications. The hystopathologic diagnosis revealed a similar most common indication by myoma uteri (n=68, %35,95) followed by the combinations of myoma uteri and adenomyosis (n=19, %10,32), myoma uteri and endometrial pathologies (n=19, %10,32), cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (n=15,%8,15) and adenomyosis (n=11, n=5,97).
DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: Myoma uteri has the highest indication in both preoperative and postoperative diagnosis solely or as a combination indication.

Pages 60 - 65
INTRODUCTION: Aim of this study is to evaluate depression and sleep quality in mothers with children with cerebral palsy and to investigate relationships between these parameters and sleep problems children with cerebral palsy.

METHODS: Characteristic features of children with cerebral palsy, functional levels (gross motor function classification system), spasticity (Modified Ashworth Scale) were determined. The Children’s Sleep Habits Questionnaire and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and Beck Depression Inventory II of mothers were evaluated.

RESULTS: Statistical significant relationship between single mothers and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (5,61 ± 0,46/ 10,00
± 2,52; p=0,05), (p: 9,03 ± 1,39/26,33 ± 7,22; p=0,05), Beck Depression Inventory II and The Children’s Sleep Habits Questionnaire
(46,73 ± 1,11/54,33 ± 2,18; p=0,02) were observed. Also, significant correlations between Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and Beck Depression Inventory II (r= 0,51, p=0,02), and The Children’s Sleep Habits Questionnaire (r=0,45, p<0,01) were observed. Similarly, moderate significant correlation was observed between Beck Depression Inventory II and The Children’s Sleep Habits Questionnaire.
DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: Our results indicated relationship between sleep problems of children with cerebral palsy and mothers and as a consequences of this relationship predisposition to the depression in mother might be possible. Also, our results showed that not only sleep problems children with cerebral palsy, but also sleep and depression mood of mother should be routinely assessed in mothers.

Pages 65 - 70
Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome (RSTS) is a rare genetic disorder, characterized by distinctive facial features, short stature, moderate

Pages 70 - 75
An infrequent reason of neonatal cholestasis is congenital pituitary hormone deficiency. Clinical manifestations of cholestasis and hypoglycaemia developed in a girl baby born with caesarean section at gestational week 37, with a birth weigh of 3700 g. Hypoglycemia symptoms developed at postnatal first and cholestatis at postnatal third week. Multiple pituitary hormone deficiency was identified. Cholestasis sypmtoms recovered with growth hormone therapy. Congenital pituitary hormone deficiency should be kept in mind in the newborns with hypoglycemia and cholestasis
